GOLD OF THE BAR 10
Gene Adams and his famed riders of the Bar 10 had just brought in a herd of prime longhorn steers. Paid off in gold coin, Adams sends most of his exhausted young cowboys back to Texas on a chartered train. But Adams, Tomahawk, Johnny Puma and their youngest cowboy, Red Hawke, decide to retrace an old trail back to the Bar 10 and visit friends.
What none of them knows is that a ruthless outlaw gang with sights set on the gold in Adams's saddlebags is trailing them. They are also unaware that ahead of them two killers have kidnapped Johnny's sweetheart, Nancy.

"My real name is Michael D. George. I write westerns. In my time I've done a lot of things. I've been a barber, a freelance commercial artist, a portrait painter, a grave stone designer (a dying trade), an animator and an author. I did spend a few years in the Merchant Navy and was lucky to have travelled around the world four times before I was 23. I spent a lot of time in America during those days and cruised for two summers between California and Alaska. Now it is forty years later and these days I spend most of my time writing novels under my own name and no less than seven pseudonyms.
