Chris Collett

Chris grew up in Norfolk, before training in Liverpool to teach children with learning disabilities. She moved (reluctantly) to Birmingham, from where DI Tom Mariner emerged to police the city streets. Alongside writing the series, Chris lectures in SEN & disabilities and likes walking, taking pictures, watching films and comedy. She has published short stories, teaches creative and crime writing and is a manuscript assessor for the Crime Writers Association.
