Dave Case spent thirty-one years with the Chicago Police Department and now serves as a commander in the suburb of Bridgeview. He’s an alumnus of Northwestern’s Graduate School’s program for Creative Writing and of Northwestern’s Center for Public Safety’s School of Police Staff and Command, in which he is now an adjunct instructor.
Dave’s first western, STAND FOR THE DEAD, is scheduled to be released in in July of 2024 by Thorndike Press Large Print, and trade paperback a month later by Genuis Book Publishing.
OUT OF CABRINI, came out in 2006 to rave reviews, and is scheduled to be re-released in the latter part of 2024 or early 2025 by Genuis Book Publishing, with the sequel scheduled to be out six months later.
Dave’s written and published numerous short stories, including, MOOSE TRACKS, which appeared in the anthology, BLOOD WORK.
