First Edition. No DJ. Binding is firm. Pages are tanned. Writing inside cover includes owner's name, the words "Book Club May 22, 1962" followed by four sets of initials. Has deckle edge. Title page has minor corner fold. Unfortunate library stamp on 2nd title page and pencil marking on next. I detect no other marks, tears, folds or odor. Just noticed on front edge of spine, a spot worn through the first layer of fabric. Appears to have suffered some water damage on the back cover but nothing inside. Amazingly good shape for a book printed in the early sixties.
