Susan is thrilled with her life and her new position with Slimmers Weight Loss. However, the residents of Carbide City are fearful when a serial rapist eludes police, and a burglar breaks into homes in the middle of the night. When several of the theft victims name Susan as the thief, she is happy to head out of town with Darby to attend a wedding in New Orleans. Aided by a nosy dog, Susan impulsively steals something at the plantation where the wedding is to be held and sets off a dangerous chain of events that puts her life in danger.
