The Hunting of Mr Gloves

Adam Spencer Holden is a most unusual man. He is a respectable citizen, a family man, a member of the golf club, and well thought of by his employers. He is also a successful petty criminal. Holden meets no serious resistance until his activities come to the attention of Frank Gardener, a brave and intelligent police officer transferred to light duties after a severe battering. An intriguing battle of wits between the two men leads up to a highly unorthodox conclusion.
