Dead Man Running

(2020)
A novel by

Warning! This SAS-style action & adventure novel does contain scenes of extreme violence and some bad language throughout.
When Ethan Black decided to retire as a government hitman for Sector, he didn't realise the implications of his rash decision. Sector doesn't allow its agents to retire - or at least it doesn't allow them to retire alive.
Ethan can implicate others.
Ethan knows too many secrets.
But Ethan doesn't know the biggest secret of all - the story of his own tragic life.
Orphaned at the age of eight after the brutal murder of his mother, Ethan was adopted by nice, middle-class surrogate parents. Things seemed to come easy in life for Ethan Black: a good grammar school, a place at Oxford and acceptance to Sandhurst. After a few years as a young subaltern with the Parachute Regiment, Ethan undertook selection with 22 SAS and eventually moved on to Sector and the dirty side of black ops. The side the public never hears about.
Told he was killing bad men who would do us harm, Ethan was in for a shock when he discovered the truth. Sector has an alternative agenda, it kills good men as well as bad men in its attempt to reshape the political landscape. And the men it uses to do the killing, men like Ethan Black, are expendable once they begin to question the project.
No man is bigger than the project, as Ethan is about to find out.
Marked for death by his own people, and on the run, can Ethan expose the true nature of what Sector and its shadowy department has been up to, or will Sector put him down before he can reveal the truth.
Only time will tell!
