Steve Cavanagh was born and raised in Belfast before leaving for Dublin at the age of eighteen to study Law. He currently practices civil rights law and has been involved in several high profile cases; in 2010 he represented a factory worker who suffered racial abuse in the workplace and won the largest award of damages for race discrimination in Northern Ireland legal history. He holds a certificate in Advanced Advocacy and lectures on various legal subjects (but really he just likes to tell jokes). He is married with two young children. Selected for the Amazon Rising Stars programme 2015. ACES award winner 2015 from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

Blood Like Mine (2024)
(Blood , book 1)
Stuart Neville
"Blood Like Mine is one of those books that once you read the first few pages, you simply cannot put it back down. This is a character-driven thriller that you will not be able to forget. Simply brilliant."
Hunted (2024)
Abir Mukherjee
"A rip-roaring, bang-up-to-date political thriller that grabs you from the first pages and never lets go. Twists you won't see coming, nail-biting suspense and finely drawn characters that will linger long after reading. Unmissable."
