Wendy Cartmell

Wendy Cartmell is a former teacher, PR manager and editor of a large corporate newspaper, who has always written, either for her work, or stories for her children. She recently turned her hand to crime writing resulting in a new crime series featuring Sgt Major Crane of the Special Investigations Branch, in the British Army, drawing on her husband's 22 years service. The first book in the series Steps to Heaven and the second 40 Days 40 Nights are both out now in ebook format and shortly in paperback. The Sgt Major Crane novels have received critical aclaim from independent reviewers and book sites, including Kindle Book Review and Indie Book Spot. Wendy is lucky enough to live on the Costa del Sol in Spain with her husband and two dogs.
