Jill Dawson recommends
The Girl At the Border (2019)
Leslie Archer
"The Girl at the Border is a brave roller-coaster of a novel, crackling with life and surprises. I loved the complexity of the young woman at its center and the important themes of forgiveness and healing and how badly those qualities are needed in contemporary American culture. Leslie Archer is a born storyteller."
