Doc Savage is back in his fifth and sixth episodes, from July and August of 1933. In Pirate of the Pacific, the Man of Bronze and his aides travel to the Luzon Union to help the democratically elected Juan Mindoro, and contend with the evil Tong Too. In The Red Skull, written eight years before Marvel Comics first printed Captain America, a shooting at a country club sends Doc to Arizona, where a mining concern is beset by the mysterious crimson-headed leader of a roughouse gang.
