Souvenirs of Murder

This is the brand-new Patrick Gillard and Ingrid Langley mystery. Ingrid Langley isn't best pleased when her husband and colleague, Patrick Gillard, late of MI5 and now working for the Serious and Organized Crime Agency, is sent on assignment just days after the birth of their new son. She has no time to dwell on it though, what with nursing a newborn, overseeing the renovations of her new home - and discovering a dead body, quite obviously not from natural causes, in the Church vestry. Despite her worries about Patrick - who's hot on the trail of Andrea Pangborne, a woman regarded as one of the world's most dangerous criminals - Ingrid vows not to attempt to distract herself by investigating what she has taken to calling The Case of the Man who Tried to Take Over a Village and Ended up Dead. But before long, Ingrid has a much more immediate, and personal, problem to deal with and all clues point to Patrick as the perpetrator of the crime...
