Swimming and diving were the most important things to Marja Remington. So when she learnt that one of the best swimming coaches in the United States was coaching at Carter college, she was determined to go, even though it meant breaking with traditionand existing on a shoestring. But life was not all work - there was the romantic interest of two men, one of whom was willing to ignore his own interests for the ambitions of the girl he loved.
