This is the story of a railroad holdup, a kidnapping, and an outlaw gang. It is a story of a disgraced trouble-shooter for the railroad and his one chance at redemption. It is a story of this man's passage through one long night, a night that could end in the dawn of a new day, or a night that might never end at all.
