Oliver Poole doesn’t mind getting up early to work at Divine Light Ranch so long as he can stop by a particular coffee shop. When that coffee shop closes up, Oliver’s left to find a new place to get his favorite brew.
He tries out one coffee shop after another, but none of them can get his drink just right. A bit desperate now, he gives the Melodic Mug Café a second chance,
Barista Marigold Wilde convinces him to try a different drink. Oliver doesn’t like it, but Marigold is confident she can find him the perfect coffee drink. She’s so earnest that he doesn’t mind giving her one chance after another, and soon, he realizes that he cares more about talking to her than the actual drink.
Marigold, however, won’t date anytime soon. A terrible breakup leaves her thinking she’s only good at her job. Oliver’s going to have to pull up his boots if he’s going to change her mind.
