Joe Hart grew up on a lonely 91 acres of farmland in northern Minnesota and without many playmates or company, began writing when he was 9. His first literary love was Stephen King (and still is) whose writing shaped his mind into the twisted mass it is now. He published his first poems at age 17 and his first collection of short horror stories at 29. He is currently working on a novel. He lives with his wife and two children in northern Minnesota.

Joe Hart recommends
Deep Sleep (2022)
(Devin Gray, book 1)
Steven Konkoly
"I love a great conspiracy thriller, and Steven Konkoly has conjured one that's utterly chilling with Deep Sleep. From the high stakes set-up to the explosive finale, there's barely time to take a breath. Crack this one open and buckle in for one hell of a ride."
The Little Crew of Butchers (2017)
Francine Pascal
"Fast-paced, insightful, and disturbingly topical--Francine Pascal's Little Crew of Butchers is a glimpse into young minds swaying between fear and hope, and how our choices inevitably come back to haunt us."
