In stifling summer heat, Miss Penelope Rose decides to take a swim - scandalously, in an outdoor pool on her father's estate. Having sent off her maid, Penelope strips to her underclothes and indulges herself in the coolness of the secluded water. But when she climbs out, wearing only her soaked chemise, her dress has disappeared!
