Dragon Search

Irelia, a young dragonelle of Lavadome, flies into danger on her first mission for the secret dragon kingdom. She has taken a vow to be a Firemaid and remain unmated, devoting her life to the service of her kind. Under her glowering commander SiDrakkon, and accompanied by two other young, untested dragons, AuRel the Bronze and the intellectual NiVesseth, she must locate and remove a threat to the food supply of her race, lest starvation set alight a second civil war among the dragons. What she discovers in the sunlit world leads her to question her own place in the dragon realm and the vow she took.
