Then a young lieutenant appears in the midst of preparations. Just back from the front, former Wotan Lieutenant von Dodenburg has orders to recruit volunteers to take part in a special op in Norway. The secret mission, approved by the Fuhrer himself, is to land in neutral Norway and secure the crucial railway line transporting vital are south from Narvik.
But the mission is threatened by intelligence from the German Secret Service that Churchill is also planning to invade - to stop the are going to the Reich. In a race against partisans, British ski troops and the merciless winter weather, a small band of crack SS volunteers complete their first paradrop and head for the great port. Will they make it? If they don 't, the disastrous effect on the German war economy might well be fatal ... .
