Welcome to the brand new Star Elite team in Cumbria. Join Xander, Lancelot, Adrian, Edwin, William, Dorian, Michael, David, and Lincoln as they investigate a string of murders, mysteries, thefts, abductions, and strange sightings amongst the fells and quaint villages of Cumbria.

When Rosina's beloved and somewhat eccentric uncle is kidnapped, she tries to report it to the nearest help available. Unfortunately, her quest to locate the Star Elite is blighted by a series of misfortunes which leave her fearing for her life. The only option she has is to try to find out who snatched her uncle and why herself. However, Rosina is far from prepared to face the consequences of her decisions and finds herself facing not only a series of terrifying events that put her life in danger, but also the fury of one very angry yet meddlesome man. She can't tell him the real reasons why she's doing what she's doing, partly because it's none of Lance's business, but also because she has no idea if he's telling her the truth when he claims that he's trustworthy.

Lance is determined to get himself involved in her issues anyway, but quickly learns the folly of trying to help Rosina, especially when he does eventually locate her uncle, and realises why the Captain was kidnapped.
