Anna: She’s twenty years old and lives with her father and younger sister Helen, in independence Missouri. Raised by their father after the death of their mother when they were young, Anna is comfortable with her life and is in no hurry to leave her father’s house.
One day her younger sister Helen informs her that she’s pregnant for the town’s playboy and he has abandoned her to raise the child alone.
