Riding the Tide
(2025)(West End Montana)
(The first book in the Inner Circle series)A novel by Rogue London and N M McGregor
It might be all in the journey, but some destinations you can never come back from.
I know exactly how I got here. Growing up, and navigating life isn’t easy, especially when you have a reputation to protect. Learning who to trust, and making new enemies, often felt like walking through a minefield.
Sure, I had my brothers who were sometimes more like parents than siblings. So annoying. But that didn’t make anything easy. Especially not for a sassy, mouthy, take-no-shit-chick like me.
A string of events no one my age should have to deal with is how I got here. Standing on the edge, with a choice that, once made, can never be undone. My crown has toppled from my head too many times to count and, this time, I don’t know if there’s any coming back.
This book was previously published as West End Montana under the pen name of N.M. McGregor and has been re-titled, given a new cover, been re-edited, and parts of the book have been changed from the original story.
Warning:
This is my story. It’s gritty, raw, and authentically me. I’m an 80’s chick. I know, were all so old now! But back in the day, the world was a much different place.
In the 80’s we didn’t have supervision, we were feral, wild creatures roaming the streets and getting into shit we probably shouldn’t have been. We grew up well before our time and experienced things at much younger ages than now.
The laws and restrictions you have always known didn’t exist for us. No one cared about drinking or drugs or even where we were as long as it wasn’t in jail or a hospital.
You’re going to read this story and probably think it’s some sort of fantasy land, because you can’t imagine a world without your parents hovering and a thousand and one rules for you to follow. But it’s an authentic depiction of the world I grew up in. No, it isn’t for the faint of heart, but go ahead and dive in…. Or are you chicken?
Genre: New Adult Romance
