Absolutely no one could call my life boring, but after the turmoil of the last year I kind of wish I could. Unfortunately for me, this West End brat is not destined for calm and serene.
The past has come back to haunt me and the consequences could ruin my future. On top of that, the sudden changes in all of our lives could be too much for anyone, and recurring, horrific dreams, that seem more like premonitions, are starting to make me wonder if the stuff this year is bringing me… might be more than I can handle.
I am Montana Stanford, though. I’m not giving up that easily. This chick might go down, but if she does, she’s going down swinging.

The 80’s are still an anomaly among decades. Single parents were more common than they’d ever been, supervision was almost non-existent, we were basically feral creatures.
Part of the 80’s was experimenting. There’s a reason 80’s rock bands were the start of the ‘rockstars are druggies’ stereotype. The 70’s had some experimentation but it really took over in the 80’s.
The 80’s had both trials and freedoms that can only be imagined now. But the thing about time and history is that, as different as each generation may seem from the last, some things remain eternal. Some struggles are timeless, some joys are eternally relatable. Some dreams stay alive no matter how many generations have already had them.
