Lust, wrath, or trickster?
Alex Dirkson was stuck in a magical trunk inhabited by demons. The unholy beings made him choose costumes from a variety of eras and genres, each leading to a nightmarish story he must play out. If he performs well, he gets back a portion of his soul. If he fails, the demons will own him for all eternity.
The first half of Masked Chaos saw Alex carry out the tantalizing stories of a lust demon, hoping to satiate her never-ending appetite. All was going according to plan until a wrench was thrown into the works, a wrench in the form of a wrath demon, Xol’gez. The demon was tired of watching his sibling have all the fun and demanded that Alex become more violent. It wasn’t a request, it was a demand, one made by a powerful creature more than capable of tearing him to shreds.
Hope remained, for a third demon also resided within the trunk, a trickster named Mathur. The trickster knew a way to destroy the trunk from within, but Alex can’t figure out if doing so will free him, or condemn his soul for eons.
Masked Chaos is a Halloween dark fantasy that is only intended for adult readers who enjoy the spicy side of life mixed with a twist of darkness that offers a variety of scenes touching multiple genres. Those without a bit of a ‘dark thirst’ should move on.
