Unholy Ground

When midwife Maudie Rouse marries the love of her life, policeman Dick Bryant, the pair could not be happier as they settle into contented domesticity in the village of Llandyfan. But troubles abound for the newlyweds - an abandoned baby, a difficult new district nurse, and the possibility of losing their home - and Maudie must find a way to deal with the problems, in addition to bicycling around the village performing her professional duties.
