Speckle the Stray

Speckle is just the sort of pet Helen and Hannah want - they are overjoyed. Then a gruff young man turns up. He claims to be Speckle's real owner. But the twins don't believe him. They're convinced that there is more to this man than meets the eye. Speckle, the puppy which the twins found abandoned, is now part of the family. Just as well, because when the twins catsit the mischievous Sinbad, they need all the help they can get! Especially when Sinbad disappears - has Speckle got the nose to find him?
