"Okay." Travis handed the yo-yo back to Angel. He said patronizingly, "Let's see what you can do."
I felt a little sorry for Angel; I mean she's just a little kid.
She stood there and rewound part of the string and then let it fly. The yo-yo blurred, and it zoomed back and forth. It made Travis' moves look like a kindergartener trying to play varsity. She finished off by having the yo-yo zip back into her hand.
Travis looked in shock, but he smiled and managed to get it together. "Angel, you're something of a smartass, aren't you?"
She smiled back. "It takes one to know one."
