On the trail of a gang of train robbers who stole a hundred thousand dollars in gold bullion from a train, Rusty tracks them to the mountains of east central California to the town of Alhambra, where a crooked bank owner has offered to buy the bullion at a discount.
Unsure at first if he will be able to handle five outlaws by himself, Rusty meets on old prospector who throws in with him, and the two begin to make the outlaws wish they’d chosen a different line of work.
