(2023)
(The third book in the Area 51: Project series)
A Story by

In July of 1969 the United States accomplished the impossible dream of putting a man on the moon and returning him safely to earth fulfilling the vision of President Kennedy seven years earlier. What the nation never heard was that the astronauts of Apollo 11 unknowingly brought back some moon rocks from the lunar surface that were infected with a deadly unknown pathogen. When scientists from the Manned Space Flight Center turned up dead, the moon rocks were moved to Area 51 for secret study.

Days later a security guard is dead, the moon rocks are missing, and November Division is in a panic to get them back before the world finds out, and the success of the “One Giant Leap for Mankind” mission is tarnished forever. In an investigation deemed too sensitive for the feds, the head of November Division once again turns to Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Homicide Detective John “Black Jack” Morrison to resolve the crisis quickly.

Even though he hates going to Area 51, Black Jack is in no position to object. This time he’s in hot water with the Chief for slamming his detective car into a fire department ladder truck, on duty, while…you guessed it…drinking. The murder case quickly turns into a fugitive hunt requiring all the savvy Jack can muster to catch the killers, and more importantly recover the moon rocks. During this visit to the desert, a small curtain is pulled back into some of the otherworldly goings on involving UFOs, UAPs, and Area 51. Is Black Jack being told the truth?

The third novella in F.X. Regan’s acclaimed
AREA 51: Project series, this book screams faster than the stealth jets at Area 51. As they say in the cockpit, buckle up for the ride.
