"What I want, doesn't seem to matter much these days."

Shane Hammond feels trapped and he feels controlled. After fleeing with his brother Benjy from the violence of the Concord Pack, he thought Sparrow Ridge was finally the home they had been seeking, but now he finds himself squarely under his brother’s thumb. Benjy Hammond is now Alpha Mate and he doesn’t trust Shane to be on his own. In his mind, there are too many dangers, chief of them being Shane’s mate Daniel O’Hare. Shane is desperate for a chance to get to know his mate, experience the love and commitment that Benjy has with his mate Alpha Victor Rios. Benjy refuses to see reason, only seeing Daniel as the exact kind of man who abused them at their old pack. Shane is ready to defy his brother and be with Daniel by any means necessary, but other dangers are lurking on the edges of Sparrow Ridge territory. As brother is pitted against brother, will anyone stop the real threat before it is too late?

"All I ask is that you not get tired of me."

Daniel O’Hare knows he fucked up. He’s never been very good with people and he’s always been a little bit more of an asshole than is acceptable, but everything is different now that Shane is in his life. He never thought he could care and love quite this much. He would do anything for the little omega who has stolen his heart, even abide by Benjy’s dictatorial set of rules for their courtship. He’s desperate to gain Benjy’s trust so that he can finally bond with his mate, but he can see Shane’s patience fraying. He’s torn: does he give Shane the companionship that he needs and risk the wrath of Benjy and possible exile or does he continue to follow the rules and risk his bond with Shane.

No matter the price, The Omega’s love is worth risking it all.
