Buying a house that was rumored to be haunted might not have been the brightest idea I had ever had, but you didn’t see how beautiful it was. Unfortunately, the dead body in the bathtub left a ring of suspicion around the entire house.
 
Allie McSwain never intended to buy a new house, but when the beautiful mansion just outside of town goes up for sale, she has to take a look at it. It was a piece of Sandy Harbor history and was not to be missed. She brings her best friend Lucy Gray along, and the real estate agent takes them on a house tour they won’t soon forget.
 
Mummy pies were Allie’s grandmother’s special Halloween treat, and Allie tries to recreate the recipe, but the real mummy in the mansion is what gives her pause. And the creeps. Can she and her PI boyfriend, Alec Blanchard, and Lucy, find the real killer after all these years?
