"Better Late" is the story of six women, living amongst the picturesque towns of The Berkshires. They are married, divorced, widowed and single and they are all learning that love and, yes, even sex, can indeed be Better Late.
Helen has always squabbled with her husband, Phil, but when a petty argument over a TV show escalates into low blows and cheap shots, Helen walks right out the door.
She arrives to a "girls night" dinner and announces that she's leaving her husband, once and for all. Her friends quickly move from disbelief to real concern. Helen and Phil have been married for almost forty years and in between all the bickering they have had a solid relationship. Convinced that the root of the problem is Phil, Helen's friends take action. En masse they barge in on Phil prepared to do battle with this stubborn jackass. But within minutes, Phil breaks down, sobbing. Phil wants Helen back and he's willing to do anything to make it happen. The ladies come up with a plan so crazy is has to work!
