Shorty, Buffalo and little James just rode in from the range where they were checking cattle. As they dismounted, little James said, Dad, I think were going to have bigger calf crop this year, dont you?

Jim and two other hands walked from the barn. Yall go ah head. Were done with the chores so well help Jim. Supperll be on the table shortly.
As Jim brought those horses to a stop, he was yelling. Shorty, got you a letter from Captain Jack!
Under his breath, Shorty said, Double darn, thats all I need. He took the letter and read it, standing right there.
Shorty, get to Denver on the double. Bring extra clothes and all of your gear. Youll be gone a mighty long while this time.
Four days later, he was standing in the U.S. Marshals office in Denver Colorado. England! Have you lost yore cotton picking mind! Hell no, Jack Hardesty, I aint goin to England an thats that!
Ten days later,,without Dunnie but with all his riding gear, he was aboard a passenger ship headed for England.
