Damage Unlimited – “Revenge Incorporated: Your Local Professional Retribution Service.”
A remote island client activates their revenge clause when an unknown assailant slaughters every living thing at a logging site. The forest around here is an extremely dangerous place to be, but so too is ex-Legion Marine, NJ McCall. Some battles, though, can’t be won by GX-Cannon and SA-71s alone….
‘Damage Unlimited’ is an introductory novelette to the Revenge Squad series and is set between the events of the novels Hurt U Back and Second Strike.
Being Cassidy Dupuis – In an alternate America in which licensed assassinations are legal, marital jealousy causes mayhem when husband and wife take out hits on each other. For licensed shooter, Cassidy Dupuis, the situation is more than awkward, it puts her in mortal peril. This story is set in the Hit World universe, created by William Allan Webb.
Monsters Understand Beauty Too – Decades after the apocalypse bombs fell, the Woburn Badlands see a tricky co-existence between the Midbedz orc clan and the Norm villagers. Alison flees the Midbedz, fearing the monster inside her green skin. But she discovers peace among the herds of Chinese vampire deer. Perhaps monsters like her can understand beauty too.
The cover image is by Vincent Sammy and depicts Revenge Squad employees NJ McCall and Silky wiring their brain stems together. Vincent originally created this illustration for a Revenge Squad novel that I have yet to write (Blood Feeder) and captures the pair perfectly.
