Cafe Culture

Albufeira, Portugal. Late at night down a dimly lit street off 'The Strip', there is the sound of breaking glass, running feet and then a loud explosion, shattering more windows and triggering car alarms. The premises damaged belong to an English couple, and since there had been three similar attacks on Restaurants owned by British ex-pats, Sergeant Jorge Alvaro of the local Police decides to bring in Chris Metcalfe and Alicia 'Al' Fearns, two Met Police Officers seconded to work with him in wagering war on crime involving ex-pats. Their investigation soon turns up a trail of blackmail, smuggling...and murder, all leading to a violent conclusion at Cape St Vincent.
