After rescuing Madie, she and Gage head for Oregon. Even though Hollister got away, Gage decided not to go after him, but just be content to have Madie.
Levi ‘Beaver’ Johnson is traveling down from the mountains to try his hand at gold mining. He’s jumped on the way by some outlaws who want to relieve him of the gold he doesn’t yet have. Levi doesn’t like that.
Gage and Madie hear the shots fired by Levi and the outlaws. Gage has to go see if he can help whoever it is being shot at. He kills the last two outlaws just before they put more lead into Levi.
After helping Levi recover, the trio ride on north.
Meanwhile, Hollister gets some medical attention and puts together another gang to go after Gage and Madie. They follow the trail left by Gage, Madie, and Levi.
Over time, Hollister finds out where Gage, Madie, and Levi are trying their hands at finding gold.
Will he succeed in killing Gage and taking Madie? Will Levi show up again in time to help Gage? Only time will tell.
