Grave Error

Who was the woman Henry Jordan had insisted upon going up the hill to the old village graveyard to meet? Did she really exist or had she existed only in his imagination? And what of the unidentified woman who was found murdered later that same day in the Morgan Road Cemetery over in Chartley, thirty miles from the village? Was there some sinister, far from imaginary connection between these two mystery women, both of whom were said to bear a striking resemblance to Henry's late wife? Henry's best friend, Benjamin Wetherby, decided to find out. But unfortunately, it was no good asking Henry for any answers to the riddle. It was too late for that. Henry was dead.
