It’s been zero days since I realized I’m in love with Leander Knight.
Lee, or Knightley as everyone calls him, is my brother’s best mate, and he’s always treated me like his kid sister. Okay, so he might not put cockroaches in my lunchbox and lizards down my neck anymore, but even though we work together every day at Hartfield Wildlife Hospital, he’s never seemed interested in me in that way.

But then, at my sister’s wedding, I graciously give up my bedroom to an old maiden aunt and then realize I have nowhere to stay. Knightley invites me to crash in his hotel room, insisting he’ll take the sofa. I say yes, because I’m convinced we’re both grownups who can resist the undeniable growing attraction between us.
But he’s so gorgeous… and he smells so good… And then he kisses me, and everything else goes out the window…
