She walks into his office, this beautiful, damaged woman, looking for her sister. Alexandra and Cherise had never been close, but Cherise has disappeared. Their father is the Commander, a sinister man who controls New York City. It is a time of anarchy, the U.S. splintered into warring factions. It is the time of the Dark.
Now a NYC detective walks the city streets trying to find a mystery woman who has left a trail of pornographic images, and little else. He is assisted by Vienna, the daughter of the King of Washington Square. He is pursued by a killer he refers to as “Reservoir Dogs” and the very lethal April Lea, an Amazonian model and martial artist.
The detective is also searching for Giulia, the lover who has left him. She might be in New Orleans. There is a good chance that he will find Cherise there, too. Now all he and Vienna have to do is figure out how to get out of NYC alive. Then make their way south to the no man’s land that is New Orleans. After that, finding the women should be easy…
