Freya North recommends
Scripted (2024)
Fearne Cotton
"An impressive and thoroughly entertaining debut. All the ingredients for a great read are here: Scripted is fast paced and original, populated by a colourful cast yet delivering a thoughtful theme of finding one's feet and one's voice, of learning to say 'No' and standing up for oneself. Such as satisfying read, I really enjoyed it and would love to see what Jade (and Fearne) do next."
The Cancer Ladies' Running Club (2021)
Josie Lloyd
"This life-affirming book will make you weep and jump for joy. A heart-warming story about bravery and compassion, friendship and family."
The Life and Soul of the Party (2008)
Mike Gayle
"What I love about Mike Gayle is the way he seamlessly blends humour and sensitivity - his books are always rip-roaringly funny, yet so humane too."
