The war is winding down. The world is about to change in ways no one suspected. The American Indians arrived in China and have been attacking the PLA and creating nightmares across China. The PLA called their most experienced troops home to fight the Indians providing the Americans an opening to take back the west coast. General Zhang listened to a plan that might as well have come from a science fiction movie but the more he thinks about it, the more he leans toward approving it. The plan moved forward with results better than he ever thought possible
The final battles along both coasts are proceeding, General Gogson found himself fighting other Americans who'd supported the Chinese as he was ordered to retake LA, SF, Portland and Seattle. Americans are fighting Americans. General Roberts approves a plan that will change the country forever while potentially blocking the progressives from ever winning the White House again.
On the east coast the UN recalled their troops when the Russian Bear after learning their mistakes from their invasion of the Ukraine, they thought this was the perfect time to invade NATO. Most of NATO's best troops were tied up in America and America was split thus unable to send help to Europe. Once the Russians crossed the border into Poland, the UN and Europe panicked.
When the UN recalled their troops the Ghost was ordered to capture the President who could be held for trial. He finds himself also fighting Americans who supported the progressives and the UN. They'd sworn their lives to support the President. Philadelphia had become an armed fortress. The defenders had built road blocks every few miles that led to the Ghost to order tanks used on American freeways to break through the roadblocks.
General Roberts green lights a plan that will change the world forever. He decides to increase the number of states in America and decided to run for office against the existing President who accepts the General's offer vs being tried for treason. Unknown to the President, the deck was rigged against him and his deepest secrets were about to be made public. The election went much differently than many thought it would. In the end America was changed forever. Canada ceased to exist, most of its provinces became new US states while Quebec became new France. The Indians finally got what they wanted from the time when they were taken from their lands and placed on reservations. Gray Sky returned from China to managed their dream..
Book 10 ends the series but the "Universe" will return in a series of books set in the 'Universe." These will tell the story of different groups behind 'enemy' lines.
